Digital and media agency Equimedia Ltd has taken around 7,000 sq ft at the Stella Building in Windmill Hill Business Park in Swindon as the company continues to expand its operations.
The office deal was brokered by JLL which marketed the building.
Equimedia already occupied space at Windmill Hill Business Park at the Regus Building and coupled with their existing London office, is taking this additional space to enable it to grow. The company is taking the first floor (7,187 sq ft) of the three-storey building.
Giles Weir, director at JLL, said: “It’s been a difficult year for the office sector in Swindon with take up some way below the typical annual average. I’m delighted that we this deal over the line and it shows there is still some confidence in the market. Windmill Hill Business Park is arguably one of the best business parks in Swindon and this letting shows that there is demand for quality space even in difficult conditions.
“Demand for Grade A office space continues to be focused in west Swindon at Lydiard Fields and Windmill Hill.”
JLL acted on behalf of the assignor Energy Solutions and Equimedia were represented by Smethurst Property Consultants.
Equimedia has two UK offices in London and Swindon. Windmill Hill Business Park is an obvious location for the company because of its proximity to the M4 which offers easy access to London.
