Salmon Harvester Properties (SHP) has let two more buildings on its speculatively developed Axiom trade and industrial scheme on Orbital Park in Ashford, Kent.
The 7,234 sq ft Unit 11 has been taken by Hire Station, suppliers to the industrial, construction and DIY sectors, while Unit 9 of 2,974 sq ft has been leased to Specialised Roofing Supplies, stockists and suppliers of UPVC building products.
Both leases are for 10-years and at rents of £10 per sq ft which is believed to be the highest yet achieved for industrial space in Ashford.
These follow previous lettings to Howdens Joinery and Meggitt Safety who are now both in occupation and leave only three units available to lease.
Salmon Director Pat Mahoney said: “These are excellent lettings in line with the high quality of the scheme and the increasing rental levels are encouraging from the investment point of view. We anticipate the estate letting up completely shortly rewarding SHP’s confidence in internally funding the speculative build.”
Strutt & Parker and Altus Group advised SHP with Specialised Roofing and Hire Station representing themselves.
