Following two successful industrial disposals in Nottingham, NG Chartered Surveyors has been instructed to sell Unit 1 Chapel Lane, Bingham for £1.8 million.
The 40,000 sq ft freehold detached warehouse with yard is attracting lots of attention because of its sought-after location and excellent transport links to the A46 and the A52.
Sunny Landa, from NG, said: “There is a limited supply of freehold stock, of this size and quality, on the market at the moment so we are expecting a significant amount of interest in this instruction.
“The property sits at the front of the Bingham industrial area and lies about half-a-mile north of the town centre where all the local services and amenities can be found. The popularity of Bingham as a strategic warehouse location is starting to be fully recognised by firms across the East Midlands. Its popularity is being helped by the completion of the A46 dual-carriageway, plus Bingham’s easy access to the A52, which is about ten miles west of Nottingham city centre.
“This instruction is a direct result of two sizeable disposals NG managed in the city at the beginning of the year, and because of demand, we are expecting a quick turnaround.”
The warehouse has four full height loading doors which open onto a securely gated yard. Inside there is a mezzanine floor running the length of the building and two-storey offices.
