Full infrastructure work at £150million Bridgwater Gateway is now underway as the major new business park prepares for its first occupiers.
Contractors are presently working on full infrastructure of all estate roads and extension of services at the 100 acre development at J24 of the M5, which is being marketed by commercial property specialist Colliers International.
Phil Wade, development manager at Bridgwater Gateway, said: “It has been remarkable to witness the transformation that is taking place over a very tight timescale.
“Plot preparation only began in July and now full infrastructure work is in progress. We are looking forward to delivering high-specification office and industrial buildings within 12 months and welcoming our first occupiers.”
Phase One has now been released at Bridgwater Gateway, which is the newest business park development on the M5 corridor and will feature a range of high-quality modern office and commercial buildings, including a new 150 bedroom 4-star hotel with conference facilities.
Tim Davies, head of the South West office of Colliers International, said: “Bridgwater Gateway will play a vital role in meeting the considerable demand that exists in the South West for prime industrial space and Grade A office space.
“The combination of strategic location and well-designed modern buildings makes it an ideal choice for a range of end-users, and solicitors have already been instructed on a number of transactions.”
