A manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories has opened another industrial unit on a Mansfield industrial estate as it looks to expand its operations, national property commercial consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has announced.
Future Products Ltd has agreed a three-year lease for unit 3, Concorde Way Millennium Business Park, with LSH, which was appointed as sole marketing agent for the 11,419 sq ft warehouse with yard.
The premises will complement a total of 90,000 sq ft in three manufacturing facilities close to Enterprise Way and will be used to extend the range of products offered to customers by Future Products Limited and sister companies
As well as an 8,433 sq ft warehouse, the unit also comprises newly refurbished ground and first floor offices of 2,986 sq ft, a car park and secured yard.
Ben Silcock, surveyor at LSH Nottingham, said the convenience of the unit, which is less than half a mile from Future Products Ltd’s existing sites, plus good quality accommodation with modernised offices, proved an attractive prospect for the company.
“There is a shortage of warehouses of this size in the area, so it is good news to see a growing local company able to take advantage of the offer,” added Ben, who acted on behalf of landlords CSL Industrial Ltd.
Clive Hewgill of CSL said: “LSH worked particularly hard to ensure this deal got over the line and we are very happy with the service they provided.”
He said CSL have been extremely active in recent years acquiring industrial accommodation predominantly in North Nottinghamshire and are actively looking for further opportunities.
It is anticipated that the new facility will take the total number of staff in the Future Products and sister company employment to over 150, with the majority living within easy walking or biking distance from the units.
Concorde Way is located on the north side of Mansfield, two miles from the town centre. It is just off the A617 Chesterfield Road North, which links Mansfield with junction 29 of the M1.
