Adrian Carter, Director of Property Management and Building Consultancy at Goadsby has recently been able to facilitate a donation of £2,000 to the Sparkle Appeal for the Victoria Education Centre & Sports College in Lindsay Road, Poole. The College specialises in providing education, care and therapy for pupils aged 3 to 19 years with physical disabilities, predominantly cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.
With the help of the local community, corporate donations, charitable trusts and fund raising events, the Sparkle Appeal have already raised £2.65M and need just a further £150,000 to reach their target for phase 1 of the project, which is to provide a new Hydrotherapy Pool and Therapy Centre which will be of enormous benefit to the pupils at the Victoria Education Centre and the local community. An official groundbreaking ceremony will take place in early July to mark the start of the building works for the new pool.
Adrian Carter said “Goadsby are delighted that we have been able to support such a worthy local charity and wish the team at the Sparkle Appeal the best of luck with their continuing endeavours”.
