Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of experienced Gary Mead.
He joins the expanding Salisbury-based firm of chartered surveyors as a Commercial Agency Surveyor.
Myddelton & Major Partner Philip Holford said: “We are delighted that Gary has joined us. He brings a wealth of experience in dealing with industrial, office and retail property across the south west.
“The commercial side of our business has grown to such an extent that we felt it imperative to bring in a new face to ensure we continue to provide our trademark exemplary service to clients.”
“Gary will be working alongside the partners and the rest of the commercial agency team from the office in Salisbury and providing agency support to the offices in Andover and Westbury.”
Myddelton & Major is an independent firm of chartered surveyors established in High Street, Salisbury, with offices in Andover and Westbury and provides advice on sales, lettings and acquisitions of commercial and residential property.
Gary previously worked for several practices in the south west including Alder King in Bristol, Davies & Way and Tamlyns.
With Myddelton & Major he will be looking after negotiations for new leases and sales of commercial property.
He said: “I was looking to get back into the commercial world as my preferred career choice and this opportunity came along at exactly the right time.
“I bring more than a decade of experience in the property world to Myddelton & Major and hope it will stand me in good stead as I strive to continue the excellent work for which the firm is renowned.”
Gary, 44, who is married with two daughters and lives in Frome, Somerset, names football among his hobbies.
