Exceptional eyewear brand Ollie Quinn (OQ) has acquired 14 New Bond Street, Bath, advised by Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP.
The store will occupy an outstanding corner position in the City close to aspirational occupiers including Bobby Brown, L’Occitane and Space NK. A new 8 year lease was agreed and OQ will trade on both ground and basement levels.
Richard Saunders of Hartnell Taylor Cook said: “Ollie Quinn’s range of own designer eyewear and sunglasses at a reasonable price point of £98 are the perfect fit for the Bath shopper.”
Ollie Quinn is an independent company who are side stepping the traditional optical sales methods to remove the need for intermediaries and unnecessary mark ups. They design all the frames in-house, whilst using the best quality material and even have the cutting of prescription lenses done locally, OQ only sell their frames via its own boutiques so that they are able to provide premium and creative designs at an affordable price.
The new store will also provide healthcare. As part of OQ’s commitment, friendly, highly trained in-store optometrists offer eye exams to ensure eye health is at the core of every decision for customers. A full eye test takes about 30 minutes, after which a dedicated team of stylists will help customers find the perfect pair of frames for their face. In store, the OQ optometrists can also help customers with high index and varifocal prescriptions.
David Garrett of Ollie Quinn said: “At Ollie Quinn we aim to make life easy for you. Our frames. Our lens and our coatings are presented as one all-inclusive product offered at one affordable price. If it doesn’t cost us more, it won’t cost you more. That’s our commitment and we are very excited to bring our product to Bath.”
Bath will take OQ to 12 stores located in the UK including a recently opened store located in Park Street Bristol, also acquired by HTC with more stores to follow.
