Commercial property specialists Bulleys have put together a tasty deal for expanding biscuit maker Phoenix Brands.
The company is set to move from Bilston to new premises on Monmore Park Industrial Estate in Wolverhampton.
It has taken 30,000 sq ft of space required for the installation of a new £1 million-plus production line.
In total, it represents an investment of £1.5 million.
Edward Jenkinson, agency surveyor at Bulleys, which has offices in Wolverhampton, Oldbury and Telford, said: “Phoenix Brands is a well-respected business in the food products industry.
“It has outgrown its current site and we are very pleased to have attracted it to Monmore Park, enabling it to meet its specific requirements.”
Phoenix Brands is moving from Bilston, where it employs 30 people.
Andy Richards, company owner, said the move would generate another ten jobs.
He said: “Phoenix Brands has been producing biscuit products since 1998 and at Bilston since 2001.
“We are passionate about how we make biscuits and pride ourselves in being able to offer a hands-on approach when helping a customer develop their new lines.
Delivering on time and doing our utmost to meet urgent orders is the service we offer.
“We will be moving to new larger premises in Wolverhampton by the end of this year which will benefit our expanding customer base which has grown steadily. Monmore Park is in a good position and local to where our staff live.
“The new site will allow us to deliver more in terms of an improved production and working environment and greater production flexibility. We needed to have everyone under one roof.
“We are investing in a new, purpose built baking and processing line bristling with all the latest technology.
“This will allow us to continue to increase production, develop new products and improve service to our customers.
“I am excited about what the new machinery can offer and look forward to the challenges our customers will present us with.”
Monmore Park Industrial Estate comprises six industrial units arranged around a substantial enclosed common yard.
It totals 54,000 sq ft.
Phoenix Brands join West Midlands Ambulance who occupied 12,000 sq ft late last year.
That leaves just 12,000 sq ft vacant.
The estate is located off Ettingshall Road and next to the Birmingham canal, two miles south of Wolverhampton city centre and just under five miles from Junction 10 of the M6.
