Sporting staff from across three CBRE offices conquered a personal challenge at this year’s Property Triathlon North at MediaCityUK, with one team member coming in seventh place ahead of hundreds of competitors.
The popular industry event saw more than 800 people competing, including 22 plucky entrants from CBRE’s Manchester, Leeds and London offices. Graham Burrell, Head of Capital Allowances in London was the first home in 1hr 13 minutes, clinching an impressive seventh place overall.
The triathlon consists of a 750m open water swim, followed by an 18km bike ride around Salford and finishing off with a 5km run, taking in the Lowry, BBC, ITV and the Imperial War Museum.
The sprint distance triathlon brings together anyone connected to the property industry and is a great way for people of different ages and abilities to compete side by side. The event attracts all levels of competitor, from complete novices to more seasoned triathletes. The Property Triathlon North is the sister event of the highly successful Property Triathlon and Property Swim. The events combined have raised nearly £1.8million to date, this year raising £25k for the charities Crisis and The Christie (Tim Bacon Foundation).
