A round of promotions has been announced at the Southampton office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group.
Alan Waters, Garry Lee, Chris Trimble and Piers de Hondt have been promoted at the Southampton office, where over 60 people are employed.
Alan is now an associate director for assurance and business services, and Piers de Hondt is now an assistant manager for business tax. Alan has been with the firm 13 years and specialises in audit and due diligence assignments. Piers acts for a wide variety of clients with a particular specialism in research and development tax relief for companies and has been with the firm for nine years.
Meanwhile in the restructuring and recovery Services team, Garry has been promoted to senior manager, and Chris to manager. Garry has been with the firm 10 years and Chris 11 years. Garry and Chris specialise in business advisory work, including restructuring, corporate insolvency and personal insolvency.
