LC Industrial, a tie up between LRE Capital and Leeds-based business specialist Citivale, has agreed a deal with international software provider itim for new offices at Humber Enterprise Park in Brough.
itim, which also has offices in London and Portugal, is moving into ground floor of the superbly-renovated Buccaneer office building, relocating from Victoria House in Hull. The company is taking 2,464 sq ft of quality space on a 12-year lease. The rent is £8.50 per sq ft.
itim, which specialises in providing software, solutions and services to help retailers run their businesses more efficiently in today’s multi-channel technological world, boasts an impressive client including retail giants Debenhams, The Fragrance Shop and Halfords.
James Appleton-Metcalfe, managing director of Citivale, said: “We are thrilled to announce software provider itim is joining our growing community and moving in to the ground floor of our Buccaneer office space.
“Alongside its existing offices, the Humber Enterprise Park offers the ideal place for the company to relocate its Hull office to as it allows itim to take advantage of the benefits that come with the park’s Enterprise Zone status. Our site’s tenants are exempt from business rates, a saving worth up to £275,000 over a five-year period, freeing up increased funds for itim to invest back into their business.
“In combination with some of the lowest rents on modern office space in East Yorkshire, the Humber Enterprise Park provides significant financial incentives for its tenants, and offers the perfect home for companies with ambitions to expand. Humber Enterprise Park incorporates 1.3 million sq ft of high-quality office and industrial space and 20 acres of development land.
So far £6million has been spent on regenerating the whole site, described as “a jewel in the Humber’s crown” with another £1.2 million earmarked for further improvements. It is estimated that 1,600 new and sustainable jobs will be created when the park is fully developed during the next three years.
James Appleton-Metcalfe added: “LRE Capital and ourselves are keenly aware that our park should not just be a place to work, but also a proper community where to life can be enjoyed. So we are creating a running track on the perimeter of the site; a heritage museum, paying tribute to the rich history of aircraft manufacturing here; green spaces and allotments; break-out areas and spaces for art; and a fitness suite.”
