One of Bristol’s newest speculative industrial developments has welcomed a new tenant: Colonna Coffee.
The move has seen Colonna Coffee, a coffee roaster previously based in Corsham, Wiltshire, relocate to Yate on the outskirts of Bristol to take 4,923 sq. ft. of space in an end of terrace unit at Apollo Park.
Property consultancy JLL, working jointly with Colliers International, acted on behalf of Chancerygate which developed the site, whilst Gerald Eve acted on behalf of Colonna Coffee.
Deborah Bryant-Pearson, surveyor at JLL in Bristol, said “It is great to see a growing firm relocating to this new and exciting estate. With bespoke roasters being built in America to facilitate Colonna Coffee’s production, their fit out of unit five is sure to be impressive.
“With coffee an increasingly popular choice among consumers, visible through the number of cafes on the high street, it has been interesting to see a growing number enquiries from this sector seeking space throughout the city.
“With stock levels at a 13-year low, industrial units of a high specification have been few and far between. Demand is still strong and landlords and developers are responding with more speculative development to tackle this. This is great news for prospective tenants, who are seeking new quality stock.”
Tom Cater, surveyor at Gerald Eve in Cardiff, commented “Colonna Coffee is an exciting and rapidly expanding company, and their relocation to Yate will bolster their grip on Bristol’s thriving coffee market. The high quality of this new development reflects their brand and will provide a production base for them to meet their future expansion plans.”
With 68% of the scheme already sold or let, Colonna Coffee joins Saddleback and James Latham at Apollo Park. A further four units are under offer, with only four units now left available for occupation.
Victoria Mann, asset manager at Chancerygate, said “Colonna Coffee is a great addition to an already strong lineup of tenants at Apollo Park. As a growing business, they required a well-located, contemporary and client-friendly space. The estate is in keeping with the company’s modern and clean image. Chancerygate looks forward to continuing to work with Colonna Coffee in the future.”
Interest in the few remaining units can be registered with the joint agents, JLL and Colliers.
