Cattlemarket Business Park in Winford, south of Bristol, has enjoyed a flurry of recent lettings activity, with three out of the eight new business and light industrial units let in the last month and a fourth now under offer.
The Cattlemarket Business Park scheme was originally developed in 2011 on the site of the former Winford Livestock Market. Situated in a rural location in the heart of the Chew Valley on the outskirts of Bristol, it has since become a thriving business community with all 20 units in the first phase occupied by a variety of regional occupiers.
Buoyed by the success of this first phase and the positive supply/demand dynamics in the industrial sector, Landed Property Solutions has delivered two further phases totalling 11,520 sq ft, of which only 5,760 sq ft in three units remains available.
The latest transactions include the letting of Unit 25 to lift control panel manufacturer Lion Lift Controls which is relocating from Littleton Mills in Winford. It has taken the unit on a new five year lease.
Racing Line Bodyworks has leased Unit 24 after agreeing a five year lease and a private individual has taken Unit 27, also on a five year lease. Unit 23 was taken earlier this year by kitchen and bathroom showroom Angel Interiors.
Emma Smith, associate at Alder King in Bristol which is acting for the landlord, commented: “Activity levels in the region’s industrial sector have been constant, constrained only by a lack of stock in the market. Cattlemarket offers brand new, flexible working space in a spectacular but well-connected rural environment and this is proving very attractive to a wide variety of Chew Valley and other businesses looking to upgrade their premises.”
