There is no doubt the Swindon office market has been in the doldrums for the last couple of years but Keningtons are pleased to announce that they have completed the largest out of town office letting in Swindon for two years.
Acting for Fund Managers CBRE Investors, Keningtons have let 10,405 sq ft at Delta 1200 to The TM Group who provide Online Conveyancing Services to the property/legal sector. TM continue to expand as they launch services in the lender market to tackle mortgage fraud and are relocating from premises elsewhere on Delta Office Park.
Jeremy Sutton, Partner at Keningtons comments “Delta 1200 is a modern two storey office building and TM have taken a new 5 year lease on the entire first floor. It is always good to see local companies expanding. This letting is the largest letting in the out of town office market since Motorola relocated to Kembrey Park during the first quarter of 2010. The Swindon office take up figures so far this year show that some 48,650 sq ft has been disposed of which is 57% of the take up for the whole of 2011”
Trevor Brown, Finance Director at TM Group adds “We knew our lease was up for renewal later this year but were unable to expand where we were, so took the opportunity of relocating whilst the market conditions are favourable for tenants” Having completed the lease we are now undertaking our own fit out and looking to move staff in during May”
The ground floor at Delta 1200 provides a further 9,850 sq ft available either as two individual suites of 4,925 sq ft or as a whole.
