Creative workspace pioneer Spaces has announced that it will be opening a hub in Reading. The company has taken 3576 sq m of space in 9 Greyfriars, a new, energy efficient office building at the heart of Reading town centre.
Amsterdam-born Spaces provides creative working environments which are designed to integrate lifestyle into work. The company has a unique entrepreneurial ethos and encourages its members to build their networks and make connections. The new Reading site is designed to meet the varied workplace requirements of today’s entrepreneurial businesses and will offer private offices and meeting rooms, as well as a vast co-working space. An on-site café serving fresh deli food and barista- style coffee will also be available.
The locations benefits from excellent transport links and is situated just two minutes’ walk from the recently redeveloped Reading station, providing direct rail access to London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff.
This announcement is the latest step in Spaces’ UK expansion which continues to gain momentum. The company, which was founded in 2006, has already opened several hubs across the UK, in locations including London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Gerrards Cross and is due to open in several other locations later this year. Internationally, the company has a presence in countries including the Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore and Mexico.
