Legal & General, on behalf of its Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF), announces the recent letting of 3 Easter Park, Axial Way, Colchester to major international company Müller UK & Ireland. Joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton and Newman Commercial acted for Legal & General on this deal.
This represents a significant letting for Colchester not only in terms of size but also stature of tenant as a multinational organisation. The quality and positioning of Easter Park, located in North Colchester, has enabled Colchester to attract a major tenant such as Müller, which employs 12,000 people and is responsible for major brands such as Müller Corner, Müllerlight and Müller Rice.
Joe Reubin, surveyor from Lambert Smith Hampton, said “Müller’s requirement was relatively footloose along the A12 corridor but given the lack of quality industrial stock in the region we were well positioned to attract Müller to Easter Park.”
3 Easter Park is an impressive and high-quality detached premises which totals approximately 18,365 sq ft (1,706m²) with a large forecourt and excellent proximity to the A12/A120. Müller will be utilising the site for expansion of their storage and distribution facilities.
Other occupiers at Easter Park include; Ferraris Piston Service, The Lubina Kitchen Company, Ransome Engineering, Reep Group, Argo Cargo and M.R Currell.
