Robert Pettigrew has joined the Solihull office of Thursfields Solicitors as a commercial property director.
His appointment comes as the firm continues to expand in the town, looking to grow its current staff of 15 up to 30 following a move to new 3,000 sq ft premises at 9 The Courtyard, Warwick Road.
The Bristol University graduate has recently arrived from Pinsent Masons where he had been a senior associate since 2013. He had worked at Pinsent Masons since qualification in 2004.
He is knowledgeable across a wide range of commercial property matters including freehold disposals and acquisitions, leasehold work, development projects and providing support on property matters for corporate acquisitions and disposals.
He has worked for high profile clients across many sectors, both public and private, with a client base that included John Lewis/Waitrose, Jaguar Land Rover and the Homes and Communities Agency.
He said: “Over the years I have gained experience in a number of areas particularly acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant matters.
“I enjoy working closely with my clients so that I fully understand and work towards meeting their needs and implementing their objectives.
“Joining Thursfields offers new opportunities with a firm which is expanding. I was keen to be part of a project which has a clear vision and will enable me to pursue new and challenging work opportunities both here in Solihull and across the country.”
