Leading property firm Paul Fosh Auctions has boosted its growth plans with a key appointment to establish and to cement its expansion into the city of Bristol and the West Country.
Hugely experienced regional property expert Jay Ridsdale, aged 48, has been appointed to lead Paul Fosh Auctions’s new auction operation based in Bristol.
Paul Fosh Auctions has opened an office in Bristol and will stage its first auction in the city starting at 5pm on Tuesday, September 12.
Jay qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1999. He has worked in the property industry in Bristol and the South West mostly at partner or director level with market leading consultancies including Alder King and Colliers International.
Jay, who has lived in the region for the past two decades, said: “I have been involved in many landmark schemes in Bristol and the South West over the past twenty years during which time I have built up an unrivalled level of experience in the commercial and residential property sectors.”
The father of three, a keen film photographer and cyclist, said: “I am relishing the new opportunities presented after becoming responsible for establishing Paul Fosh Auctions’ new Bristol auctions. I am looking forward to establishing the business as the market leading property auctioneers throughout the region.”
Paul Fosh, owner of Newport-based Paul Fosh Auctions, said: “I believe it’s something of a coup for us to have been able to recruit someone of Jay’s calibre and experience to help us to establish and then to rapidly expand our presence in Bristol and the West Country. This is an extremely important step for Paul Fosh Auctions and we really couldn’t have picked a better person for this crucial new role.”
Paul Fosh Auctions, which is consistently named number one for volume and value of annual property auction sales, is also opening a new auction sale based in North Wales.
