Fast growing corporate recovery and business advisory specialists Quantuma have continued their national expansion programme by opening for business in the West Midlands.
The firm has opened an office at 6110 Knights Court, Birmingham Business Park, just off Junction 6 the M42.
The move comes just three months after Quantuma opened an office serving the north west in Manchester.
The firm is growing nationally both geographically and through expansion of its service lines.
As well as corporate recovery, Quantuma now offers a broader advisory service to businesses.
Quantuma managing partner Carl Jackson said that establishing a Midlands presence was the next step in Quantuma building its national footprint.
In the West Midlands, Quantuma has recruited Martin Coyne, former senior partner of Poppleton & Appleby, as a consultant.
The expansion into Birmingham now brings the firm’s national network to eight offices, including London, Southampton, Marlow, Watford, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester.
The announcement comes shortly after Quantuma announced turnover up by 21% in the year to 31 March 2017.
Quantuma billed £9.528 million in the past financial year which saw appointments to cases including the largest insolvency in the UK legal market when partner Andy Hosking and director Sean Bucknall were appointed administrators to King Wood Mallesons (KWM).
During the year the business invested heavily in IT and launched Qhub to handle administration of cases across the firm. The new system has prompted the Southampton office move and resulted in further recruitment.
The firm’s headcount now stands at 97 up from 72 at the same time last year.
