Law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has strengthened its Commercial and Private Client team with the new appointment of Associate Laura Mackain-Bremner who will be based in the Taunton office.
Laura has joined the firm having trained at Lester Aldridge, qualifying into their Litigation team in the London office. More recently she worked for boutique litigation firm, Bark & Co in London.
Laura has returned to her Somerset roots, having grown up in Ilminster where her family has lived for eight generations. She brings with her over five years of litigation expertise and has experience dealing in all manner of disputes including contentious probate, construction, contract disputes, commercial litigation as well as director’s misfeasance and disputes between directors and shareholders.
Laura said: “I am very excited to be joining Clarke Willmott’s litigation team, particularly as this will give me an opportunity to apply my experience and knowledge to agricultural clients as well as continue to assist individuals and commercial clients.”
