GVA and OBI have secured two new tenants for 26 Cross Street on behalf of Catalyst Capital.
The 1,379 sq ft space on the second floor and 1,140 sq ft first floor space have been taken by Republic of Media and Worldwide Tickets at a headline rental of £22.50 per square foot.
This iconic 1930s building has been fully refurbished to provide Grade A boutique-style office space with state-of-the-art suites.
Republic of Media is a media buying company and Worldwide Tickets, which is new to the UK, are one of America’s primary and secondary sources for hard-to-get tickets.
Located in one of Manchester’s most historic and lively streets and within the St Anne’s Square conservation area, the eight-storey, 21,500 sq ft building has only three full floors remaining with two smaller suites ranging from 1,270 sq ft to 1,430 sq ft.
Rhys Evans, a surveyor at GVA, said: “We are delighted to welcome the new tenants to this unique building. 26 Cross Street offers something special for occupiers seeking offices of distinction within the prime office core.
“These lettings follow the recent letting on the eighth floor to the specialist housing division of Henry Boot Developments. There is strong interest in the remaining suites of the building.”
Sarah Cooper, portfolio manager at Catalyst Capital, said: “Republic of Media and Worldwide Tickets complement the tenant mix in the building, which is testament to the quality of the office space and environment provided through the extensive refurbishment.”
26 Cross Street is suitable for occupiers from a range of different sectors.
