Oldham Central Trading Estate, the largest trade counter estate in the town, extending to 110,000 sq ft, has steadily improved its profile and occupier line up in recent years. The most recent addition is Toolstation who recently completed the letting of Unit S which was the remaining unit. They join recognised occupiers Howdens Joinery, Smith Brothers and Wolsley Plumb Center along with regional operators Clifton Trade Bathrooms.
Jonathan Pickles of Nolan Redshaw said, “we are pleased to get Toolstation into the remaining unit at the very popular Oldham Central. We are delighted the estate is now fully let”.
Acting for institutional clients, asset managers Howlings Hodgson are particularly pleased with the overall performance of the estate. Jonathan Hodgson said ‘Historically this estate always seemed to have a vacant unit available. It wasn’t really the first choice location in the town for trade operators so its been a long journey to get to where we are. All the tenants have renewed in the recent years and its conversation from anindustrial estate to a trade park is now well advanced. To secure Toolstation is further evidence of this. Last year this estate was one of the Funds top performing assets which is something we’d never thought we’d say so this is an exceptional effort from all involved.
