The third in a series of successful Bristol FinTech events is set to take place on July 5 with financial technology entrepreneurs and business owners coming together to discuss challenges, find solutions and network with other industry professionals.
This event will focus on ‘Funding FinTech’, with partners and special guests looking at how Bristol and South West-based FinTech innovations can attract funding and what entrepreneurs should consider when seeking funding.
Bristol FinTech is a five-way collaboration between Barclays, Clarke Willmott LLP, Deepbridge Capital, Hargreaves Lansdown and PwC, bringing together specialists and experts to help provide the answers to business challenges faced in the sector.
Simon Tutton of Deepbridge Capital, which is hosting the event, said: “This is set to be another great Bristol Fintech event bringing together professionals in Fintech as well as influencers and those in research and academia.
“The focus of this event will be funding, including the options and opportunities available and what post-Brexit funding might look like. We’ll also be explaining the importance of business plans, financial reporting and ensuring that businesses are investor ready.”
Oliver Blower, CEO at FinTech innovation VoxSmart is the keynote speaker and will be discussing his funding journey and the opportunities and challenges which presented themselves.
