A subsidiary of innovative technology company Gilo Industries Group is expanding into a third unit at a rural development park.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major helped seal a deal for the business to acquire the large Unit 14 at Chaldicott Barns, Semley.
Quoting rent for the 11,000 sq ft (1021.90 sq m) was £57,500 per annum and the tenant has signed a 10-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Dean Speer said: “The subsidiary of Gilo Industries Group has taken further space at Chaldicott Barns as an expansion of the business after more investment to develop new technology.
“The company was already occupying Units 9 & 10 on the award-winning rural office and warehouse development park near Shaftesbury on the Wiltshire/Dorset border and wanted more space – the large Unit 14 was ideal.
“The subsidiary company is part of Gilo Industries Group, one of the most innovative engineering companies at the forefront of rotory engine propulsion and aviation technology, which was founded by Gilo Cardozo and has James Edmondson as Chief Executive Officer.”
Chaldicott Barns is a high quality development comprising the total refurbishment of a range of period farm buildings and newly constructed office buildings arranged around a central courtyard.
Other tenants at the James family’s former farm Chaldicott Barns, awarded rural conversion of the year in 2007 by the Country Landowners Association, include travel company Natural High Safaris, specialist car suppliers RR Elite Ltd and pet products wholesaler Collar Ways.
