A specialist light vehicle business – whose customers include the NHS – is confirmed as the new occupier of industrial premises in the Woodston area of Peterborough, confirms agent Barker Storey Matthews.
LCVT – which stands for Light Commercial Vehicle Technology – has taken on a new lease at 7 Maxwell Road, Woodston, a 3,021 sq ft single storey unit with rear gated compound, from where it is recruiting locally for an initial headcount of eight.
This is the latest industrial unit to be let by Barker Storey Matthews in Peterborough and which, according to Richard Jones, Director, reinforces the appeal of established industrial areas of the city, such as Woodston and Eastern Industry, when it comes to meeting the workshop, warehouse and trade counter requirements of the region’s small businesses.
He says, “Demand for commercial premises to let in Peterborough for light industrial uses such as those of LCVT and similar, niche suppliers, stockists and sellers, remains constant as we head in to the second part of the year.”
