Leading commercial property adviser GVA has expanded its industrial agency team in Bristol with the appointment of Byron Hammond as Senior Surveyor.
Byron, who joins from Stratton Creber Commercial, with over seven years of commercial agency experience across the West Country, has an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading, and a Law degree from the University of Sussex.
He joins the GVA industrial agency team at a time of significant optimism within the logistics and industrial market in the region. Amongst its clients, GVA represents Central Park in Avonmouth, one of the UK’s most active distribution parks, which will be boosted with direct access to the new M49 access junction, and also Horizon38, the 580,000 sq ft scheme being developed alongside the A38 in Filton, the largest speculative industrial scheme in North Bristol for twenty years.
Paul Hobbs, Director at GVA, comments, “The market is experiencing the return of significant industrial activity in the region, with a surge of major deals announced already this year. Byron joins GVA not only at an exciting time within the market, but also at GVA as we welcome new opportunities through Apleona.”
