Following hard on the heels of other recent lettings, multinational IT company Fujitsu has relocated its Bristol base to the newly-refurbished Freshford House office building in Redcliff Street in Bristol city centre.
It has signed a five-year lease on a 4,600 sq ft office suite on Ground Floor North in the 30,000 sq ft building. Freshford House owner, AEW UK Core Property Fund, was advised in the transaction by agents Knight Frank LLP and Cushman & Wakefield. Colliers advised Fujitsu.
Work has been completed on the refurbishment of the three-storey modern building to provide modern air-conditioned open plan office space. Fujitsu join Audiogum and Strava as the other occupiers within Freshford House.
Martin Booth, partner at Knight Frank in Bristol, said: “The fact that a multinational company of the calibre of Fujitsu has been drawn to Freshford House is testament to the quality of the building and its location.”
Andy Heath, director at Cushman & Wakefield added: “The speculative refurbishment of Freshford House brings much needed high-quality office space to Bristol city centre. Given the shortage of speculative development in the City at the moment, the addition of such good quality office accommodation will play a valuable role in helping to meet the shortfall.”
