The search for commercial premises in central Cambridge sees Funeral Services Ltd – trading as ‘Co-op Funeralcare’ – as the new occupier of a property on Mill Road in the city, confirms agent Barker Storey Matthews whose Cambridge office was under instruction on the letting of the retail unit property.
Funeral Services Ltd has taken a new, ten year lease on the 1,544 sq ft property at 300-302 Mill Road which, most recently, has been used as showroom and offices by a kitchen and bathroom designer.
With a secure yard to the rear and additional external storage, a basement area of 179 sq ft and ground floor space of 1,375 sq ft – which includes office and ancillary accommodation – 300-302 Mill Road meets the very specific requirements of the new tenant who, according to Barker Storey Matthews, had been actively seeking suitable premises in a central Cambridge location for some time.
