Leading property consultancy Naismiths has filled two new project management posts in Birmingham as it strengthens its national team.
Charles North and Jamie Brown both join the firm as project managers.
Charles, who has a first class degree in project management, has gained experience in project and programme management with EC Harris and Arcadis. He has worked on a wide range of schemes, including leading the procurement of two schemes, worth a combined £80 million, in Nitra, Slovakia, for a new Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility.
He said: “I’ve got seven years’ experience behind me and I have an ambitious outlook, so it’s exciting to take on a new challenge at Naismiths, where I am confident I will broaden my knowledge in the industry.”
He will be joined by Jamie, who has worked for Mott MacDonald as an assistant project manager for the past two years, mainly in the education, highways and justice sectors. Prior to that, he studied at Aston University, where he attained a first class honours degree in construction project management.
“I’m looking forward to taking the next step in my career progression at a dynamic company that is growing and provides excellent ongoing support and training to ensure that its staff develop to their full potential,” he said.
Manny Aparicio, director and National Head of Project Management, at Naismiths, said the two appointments are an important step in its drive to attract new and emerging talent.
“Both Charles and Jamie have impressive early career CVs and we are delighted to welcome them to Naismiths. Attracting and retaining the next generation of project managers is key to us developing and maintaining our status as a leading independent consultancy,” he said.
Naismiths is a national multi-disciplinary, independent property consultancy with offices in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Leicester.
