ManpowerGroup Solutions, a division of the global workforce giant, ManpowerGroup, has relocated to new offices in Southampton as the company continues to grow its team in the region.
ManpowerGroup Solutions has moved to the White Building in a deal brokered by property consultancy JLL, which is responsible for marketing this prominent office building in the heart of Southampton’s business district for let, jointly with LSH.
The workforce solutions provider has taken 5,637 sq ft of space in this newly refurbished building moving 90 staff to their new home at the White Building.
Nella Pang, associate director at JLL in Southampton, said: “It’s fantastic to have such a high profile company move into the White Building and it is testament to the quality of the space. It is one of the most impressive offices in Southampton centre with its stylish, modern reception, ample natural light and contemporary refurbished spaces, which has received numerous awards for its innovation, development and workplace environment.”
ManpowerGroup Solutions joins a growing number of existing White Building tenants: Novum Law, accountancy firm James Cowper Kreston, solicitors Keough and Fulcrum.
James Hick, managing director at ManpowerGroup Solutions UK, which has moved from 27 Hanover Buildings, said: “We are very pleased with the move. Our organisation is growing and new premises are just one of the investments we are making for the future. It was a difficult task to find good quality open plan accommodation in Southampton, but the redefined contemporary workspace at the White Building is exactly what we were looking for.
“It’s somewhere our staff can be proud to work and where we will be happy to welcome clients. Accessibility is key for our business, and being within minutes of the train station and easy walking distance into the city centre is fantastic.”
Since launching in February 2016, the White Building has had a successful run of lettings, with office suites ranging from 1,381 to 3,247 sq ft over one and a half remaining floors still available to rent.
The property also includes serviced office suites for 2 to 60 people through its White Building Studios offering. This space is let under simple all-inclusive agreements for a fixed term that meets the requirements of the tenant, be that several months, one year or more.
The White Building overlooks Watts Park and is just minutes away from Southampton Central Railway Station, the main shopping areas and the Cultural Quarter.
The asset manager for the landlord of the property is Ashville Asset Management.
Andrew Oliver, letting manager at Ashville Asset Management, said: “Since launching the rebrand of the White Building in February 2016, it’s been a real success story and we are pleased that ManpowerGroup Solutions joins the growing number of tenants there. There are now only one and a half floors remaining, so we are now looking for a sister building which would be refurbished to the same high standard.”
ManpowerGroup Solutions moved into the new offices in May.
