Dulux Decorator Centre is set to relocate its Salford trade counter after taking an assignment on a 6,000 sq ft unit on Regents Road.
Currently based on Liverpool Street, the decorators merchant will move its store to a larger, nearby trade counter unit at the Red Rose Centre on an assignment with 8 years unexpired.
Dulux Decorator Centre, which has more than 180 stores nationwide, will join other home improvement and DIY retailers including Topps Tiles and Screwfix at the scheme.
Property consultants JLL acted on behalf of Dulux Decorator Centres with Rapleys representing Brewers Decorating Centres.
Robert Kos, surveyor at JLL, said: “The Red Rose Centre is a hub for home improvement and DIY trade, which is well placed on one of the main arterial routes into Manchester City Centre, making it perfect for Dulux Decorator Centre. The business will enjoy a daily traffic count of more than 40,000 vehicles at its new premises, with easy access to major A roads and motorways.”
