Leading property consultancy Naismiths has strengthened its team as the firm enjoys a record start to the year.
Lois Taylor joins as an associate director in Naismiths’ project monitoring team and will be based in the Birmingham office having worked on a number of contracts and projects with values up to £500m, in a career spanning more than 20 years.
Her new role with the project monitoring team will see her focusing on healthcare developments.
Lois’ experience includes providing full cost management services on a variety of schemes including estimating, cost planning and contract documentation. Her expertise has been used to support banks, acting as a monitoring surveyor for construction developments in all sectors including PFI schemes.
Her appointment comes as Naismiths enjoys a record-breaking start to the year. Naismiths’ national project monitoring team has been instructed to monitor on behalf of funding organisations in excess of £550 million of new development deals in Q1.
Lois said: “Naismiths is securing some excellent instructions in London and right across the UK, so it’s an exciting time to join the company. I’m looking forward to the challenge and to building a great career here.”
Naismiths has also made an appointment at its London office. Alistair Till, a former international skier for New Zealand, has joined as a project manager after leading several multi-million pound developments in his native country.
