Leading commercial property advisers, Vail Williams, has appointed Richard Goodall as Partner to its commercial property investment team in Birmingham.
Specialising in commercial property investment, acquisitions and disposals, property development funding and strategic portfolio advice, Richard joins Vail Williams from JLL where he was a Director of Capital Markets.
He will be responsible for growing the firm’s property investment business throughout the Midlands area, and joins just as the team relocates from Brindley Place to Newhall Street.
Situated just off Colmore Row, the new office has been designed to accommodate the firm’s growth plans, starting with Richard’s appointment.
Chris Cave, Regional Partner at Vail Williams, commented: “We are delighted to announce news of Richard’s appointment. With over 30 years’ experience of working in the capital markets and commercial investment field, the last 19 of which in the Midlands, he is well placed to advise our clients on property investment opportunities, both across the Midlands and beyond.”
Richard brings with him a wealth of experience and commercial property investment and throughout his career, has been responsible for advising on a number of major investment deals, including the speculative funding of a new distribution warehouse in Stafford; the disposal of a pre-let purpose built medical centre in Stourbridge; and the sale of Quayside Tower in Birmingham’s Broad Street.
“This is an exciting time as we move into our new high-spec city centre office, with space for new recruits like Richard, plus more to follow in the coming months. We’d like to welcome Richard to the team and very much look forward to working with him,” concluded Cave.
Speaking of his appointment, Richard said: “I am pleased to be joining the growing team at Vail Williams. The firm is a well-known name in the commercial property sector across the Midlands, and I’m very much looking forward to building on this as I take up this new challenge.”
Richard joined Vail Williams in April and the office move takes place on 19th May.
