Representatives from major commercial businesses across the South West found out more about one of Britain’s most well known politicians at a presentation held in Bristol.
In the event, billed as An Evening with Michael Portillo, hosted at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre in association with law firm Ashfords LLP, the former Conservative Party politician and Cabinet Minister presented his opinions and views on Europe and the Euro.
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions of Mr Portillo, who first took a seat in Parliament in 1984 and left the Commons in 2005, about his memorable career, not only as an MP, but as a broadcaster, writer, columnist and media presenter, who appears frequently on the radio and on television. They also enjoyed drinks and dinner.
