Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its EMEA Insight team with the arrival of Darren Yates and Lisa Graham as sector specialists covering retail and logistics respectively.
Yates is returning to Cushman & Wakefield where he worked previously on European retail between 1996 and 2011. Since then he’s spent five years at Knight Frank focused on global capital markets research and the last 18 months at Carter Jonas covering the UK commercial, residential and rural sectors.
He joins logistics and industrial expert Lisa Graham who has worked as an independent sector-specialist since heading up European Research at ProLogis from 2003 to 2011. Prior to that, she was a financial analyst at Lazard Capital Markets.
Yates will be based in London while Graham will work primarily from Paris. Both will work in Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA Insight Centre of Excellence and report to Head of EMEA Research & Insight, Elisabeth Troni.
Elisabeth Troni, Head EMEA Research & Insight, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Darren and Lisa to the firm at a time of growing client interest in both sectors. As technology moves forward at pace impacting traditional retailers and shifting focus to supply chain strategies, the need for value-adding insight has never been greater.”
Darren Yates said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Cushman & Wakefield which has transformed into a genuine real estate heavyweight since I was here previously. Retail is going through tremendous change across the continent as technology dramatically impacts people’s lifestyles, expectations and the way they want to shop.”
Lisa Graham said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of building a strong foundation of data and analytics to support insightful research on the logistics sector.”
