Aerospace expert UTC Aerospace Systems has leased new offices in the Rivermead Court multi-let office in Clevedon.
Landlord Xyla Holdings was advised in the transaction by the Bristol office of property consultant Knight Frank. UTC was represented by JLL.
UTC Aerospace Systems specialises in actuation systems and support for aerospace, defence and industry. The company has been involved in the supply of equipment to the helicopter industry for over 40 years and its links to the UK aviation industry go back to 1915 and the formation of the Fairey Aviation Company.
Fairey designed and built many famous aircraft include the Swordfish and Barracuda torpedo bombers, the Fulmar, and the Fairey Delta – a forerunner to Concorde, which in 1956 was the first aircraft to exceed 1,000 mph.
Andy Smith, associate in Knight Frank’s offices agency in Bristol, said: “Rivermead Court sits at the entrance to Kenn Business Park on Kenn Road in Clevedon. Following its refurbishment by the owners there have been a string of lettings at the scheme including UTC, Edwards and Cablecom. Following the letting to UTC the scheme is now fully let.”
Steve Lane of JLL acted on behalf of UTC Aerospace Systems.
Knight Frank’s joint agent on Rivermead Court was Bilfinger GVA.
