Barker Storey Matthews has again been identified as Cambridgeshire’s most active property agent by commercial property research specialists EGi.
With a strong presence in Cambridgeshire served by agency offices in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge, Barker Storey Matthews has been awarded the county accolade in EGi’s Most Active Agent Competition every year since 2010.
The annual competition is open to all agents, including national firms, who complete deals in Cambridgeshire. It is judged on the volume of completed deals – both sales and lettings – across the diverse range of commercial property sub-sectors including industrial, office, retail, investment and leisure.
Earlier this year (March), Barker Storey Matthews was, for the fourth consecutive year, awarded the accolade of the Most Active Agent in the East of England in the national version of the competition.
Commenting on Barker Storey Matthews’ ongoing success in both categories of this much coveted commercial property competition, Steve Hawkins, Managing Director, said, “We have a strong team of 20 agents who serve Cambridgeshire from three key business locations in the county and our wider eastern region offering is complemented by our office in Bury St Edmunds.
Yet it’s not presence alone which counts when it comes to the ongoing activity of agents in securing instructions, negotiating deals and completing transactions year after year.
“Activities on behalf of our clients are based not only on our up-to-date knowledge of the forces in play in the regional property scene and its local micro-markets at any given point in the business cycle, but also years of on-the-ground property agency experience in each of the prime commercial locations in which we operate.”
