Alden Green Developments Limited, the Rossendale based development and investment company have let a unit of 3,750 sq ft to MCD Group who are a wholly owned subsidury of Headlam Group PLC.
Headlam is involved with the marketing supply and distribution of a range of floor coverings and products to the UK, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Headlam own 56 businesses across Europe and are a market leader.
Headlam last year, turned over £654 million with a profit of £36.8 million
Michael Solomon from Alden Green group states ‘we are delighted to welcome MCD Group as our first tenant and trade counter user’ and to have attracted such a major occupier to the first phase of this development. We have interest in the remaining units in this phase which vary from 3,750 – 10,000 sq ft.
Paul Nolan of Nolan Redshaw who negotiated the transaction states ‘this is a fantastic start for the development to have pre-let a unit to such a large company. The quality of the estate is fantastic and we have interest in a number of other units’.
