DTZ, part of UGL Services, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL), has been instructed by CWC Group to market a major industrial and warehouse scheme in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Together with joint agent FHP, DTZ will be marketing a 13 acre site on the scheme, called ‘Kingpin’, formerly known as Gateway 28.
The site can accommodate a single cross docked warehouse/industrial unit of 275,000 sq ft and is located a short distance from Kirkby and Mansfield with strong road links to Junction 28 of the M1 and direct access from Oddicroft Lane.
As a self contained site, it can accommodate an occupier requiring a smaller building with space to expand.
DTZ and FHP will also be responsible for marketing Unit 1C, the last remaining building at phase 4 of the scheme, comprising 14,000 sq ft of warehouse/industrial space. The unit is one of six in a courtyard development and includes a surfaced service yard, and is available on either leasehold or freehold terms. Other occupiers located at phase 4 include, Boneham & Turner and Qualitex.
Helen Longstaffe, Director, Business Space at DTZ in Nottingham commented: “We are delighted to have been instructed on this highly successful scheme. The well documented shortage of prime industrial stock in the East Midlands means that the land available at Gateway 28 will be well placed to meet occupier demand.”
