Midlands accountancy firm PKF Cooper Parry has moved in to its new Birmingham office at One Central Boulevard on Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull.
More than 120 people have relocated from the firm’s previous home at 8 Calthorpe Road in Birmingham city centre to the new office.
Designed by interior fit-out specialists Paragon Interiors Ltd, the office, called Park View, features a Segway track, swings, a sports bar, themed meeting rooms, quiet pods, a well-being tent, and collaborative workspace, as well as a big pink bull in reception.
Ade Cheatham, PKF Cooper Parry chief executive, said: “After months of planning and preparation it’s amazing to finally be in our new home and see all of the smiles around the office. We set the bar very high when we moved into our Sky View office in Derby, but I think we have managed to go one better with Park View.
“We don’t like to think of ourselves as your average accountancy firm; we disrupt, lead and make life count. Our new Birmingham office perfectly embodies the ethos of PKF Cooper Parry and provides us with a great workspace that reflects the very latest in modern working practices to accommodate our ever-growing team.”
More than 20 positions have been created as a result of the firm’s expansion, with new roles in the audit, pensions and support services teams currently being filled.
PKF Cooper Parry was recently named in the Sunday Times’ prestigious ‘Best Companies to Work For’ annual listing. The firm leapfrogged from the small company category to the medium-sized business category; it now employs 420 people.
