Tourism giant TUI has signalled its commitment to Wigmore Park District Centre in Luton after signing up for another five years, commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has revealed.
TUI has renewed its lease for the 5,120 sq ft first-floor office in Tivoli House, which houses about 40 staff.
“We are delighted to have secured TUI for another five years at Tivoli House,” said Eamon Kennedy, partner at Kirkby Diamond, which negotiated the deal on behalf of landlord Rubicon West plc.
“It’s a high-specification, self-contained open-plan office that is well located as it is close to Luton International Airport and just three miles from junction 10 of the M1.”
Paul Richards, director of Rubicon West, said: “We’ve worked closely with Kirkby Diamond for a number of years and I’m very pleased that it has concluded yet another very good transaction, which secures jobs for the town and retains a very well-respected employer at Wigmore Park District Centre.”
Clem Dobson of Clem Dobson Associates, which manages the centre on behalf of Rubicon West added: “It’s great news for the town that TUI has renewed its lease here, which safeguards local jobs and confirms that the location is well connected and accessible.”
Tivoli House has a prominent location, adjacent to ASDA supermarket, and has 40 private parking spaces, large public car park, private entrance, passenger lift and roof terrace.
