The industrial and logistics division of the Manchester office of real estate advisors Colliers International has completed two significant deals in Manchester and Chester.
On behalf of landlord HIMOR, Colliers’ let a 2.5-acre plot of hard standing at Isherwood Park, Carrington Estate, Carrington, to road planing and heavy haulage experts J Fisher & Sons Ltd of Unit 10, Chanters Industrial Estate, Atherton, Manchester on a two-year lease.
And acting for vendor DST (UK) Ltd, Colliers sold 4,894 sq ft Unit 8 at The Gateway, Bromborough to MW Sipp Pension Trustees Ltd of Oaklands Office Park, Hooton Road, Ellesmere Port, for an undisclosed sum with MW Sipp planning to let the property to a business tenant.
Laura Wilbourn, surveyor, industrial and logistics at Colliers International in Manchester, secured both deals.
She said there had been strong demand for the plot of hard standing because of a shortage of such sites in Greater Manchester while MW Sipp Pension Trustees acquired Unit 8 as an investment with plans to subsequently let the property.
