Darby Keye Property has secured a new tenant at Bromford Gate, in Erdington, Birmingham – one of Prologis’ premier industrial and logistics parks located in the heart of the West Midlands.
The modern 65,000 sq.ft. warehouse offered high quality distribution accommodation situated in an excellent location, within close proximity to JLR’s Castle Bromwich plant. The lack of existing and comparable buildings in this size range is very apparent and it was no shock that the property immediately appealed to a number of occupiers seeking space. Stiff competition for the property lead to it being placed under offer ahead of refurbishment – a strong sign that demand for industrial / distribution accommodation, in the West Midlands, continues.
Prologis’ latest tenant to the scheme were in urgent need of modern distribution premises which provided optimum capacity, and supported their premium brand image.
Chris Keye, Director at Darby Keye Property said: “We were very confident from the outset that DC2 Bromford Gate would swiftly attract a new and significant, blue chip, tenant. Prologis developed Bromford Gate approximately 15 years ago – however the scheme continues to attract substantial tenants seeking modern logistics property. This is testament to the excellent level of product and service that Prologis continue to deliver.”
Darby Keye Property and Colliers International acted as property consultants for Prologis.
