One of North Staffordshire’s longest established and most respected firms of Chartered Surveyors Louis Taylor Limited, have relocated their Head Office from Festival Park to King Street in Newcastle under Lyme.
The firm, which specialises in commercial agency, property management and professional work traces its history back to 1877 and was originally based in auction sale rooms at Percy Street, Hanley.
The 1980’s saw a relocation to Town Road, Hanley during the period when Britannia Building Society took ownership of the firm.
By 2006 the firm was back in private hands and the decision was made to relocate the Head Office to Festival Park and for the last 11 years the modern offices adjacent to HSBC have been the firm’s Headquarters.
Pat Doherty, one of the three Directors in the firm, commented “the end of our lease at Festival Park gave us the opportunity to reassess our needs and this happily coincided with the availability of attractive detached office premises in King Street.”
“After a considerable amount of refurbishment to make them suitable, we settled into The Estate Office, 5 King Street, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 1EN, over the first weekend in April and we now look forward to building upon the good relationships we have with clients and other professionals in the region from our new base”.
Louis Taylor act as Commercial Agents, Commercial Property Managers, Surveyors, Valuers, Rating and Landlord & Tenant consultants across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
The three Owner Directors are Patrick J Doherty FRICS, Nicholas Deavall BSc MRICS and Graham Hulse BSc MRICS.
The firm also has a commercial agency and professional office in Stafford run by Ian Cotterill BSc (Hons) MRICS, and a residential sales office also in Newcastle under Lyme, at 52 Merrial Street.
