The UK’s largest childcare provider has signed up for a further 10 years at IM Properties’ (IMP) Blythe Valley Park, maintaining the strong amenity offer at the park.
Busy Bees nursery in Solihull has been an established feature at Blythe since 2001, providing quality childcare and an exciting and nurturing environment for children aged three months to five years.
The nursery sits alongside an enhanced amenity offering including a Virgin Active gym and brand new Java Lounge Coffee House, which will open at the business park in March. A ‘Wellness at Work campaign’ is also currently running to make the most of the surrounding 122 acres of country park, encouraging occupiers to get outside and run, walk and cycle.
Harry Goodman from IM Properties said it was a great testament to the growing strength of the park as a business destination to keep the Busy Bees brand:
“We always look to offer the ‘best in class’ as a company and Busy Bees certainly meets that criteria. With some 2500 people working at the business park and numbers growing, quality childcare is fundamental for occupiers looking to attract and retain talent.”
IMP recently won outline planning to create a sustainable new community at Blythe, centered on some 750 new homes. A further 1 m sq feet of commercial space, will also looked to added potentially creating up to 7300 new jobs in the area.
Steve Eccleston, development director at Busy Bees, added:
“We’re pleased to extend our presence on Blythe Valley Park having occupied the space for over 15 years. We’re looking forward to the future and providing quality childcare for families in the local area for years to come.”
IM Properties, based in Coleshill, also owns Mell Square Shopping Centre and is one of the largest privately owned property groups in the UK, with an investment and development portfolio of circa £900 million across the UK, Europe and US.
