Harris Lamb has acquired space at Malvern Hills Science Park on behalf of a global hops company on a five-year lease.
BetaTec Hop Products has taken on units 54 – 57 at Malvern Hills Science Park.
The business instructed Harris Lamb to undertake a search of suitable properties within North/North West Worcestershire.
Jacqui Bayliss, of Harris Lamb’s Worcester office, said: “We inspected a number of properties, and these units at Malvern Hills Science Park – totalling 2,500 sqft, were the preferred option.
BetaTec Hop Products is the oldest and largest hops company in the world and its operations include every aspect of hop from growing, harvesting and processing, to marketing, distribution and sales.
Jacqui added: “The site at Malvern Hills Science Park was ideal for BetaTec as an unmatched community of people exploiting science and technology. With state-of-the-art laboratories and conferencing sites, excellent UK access links and an established tenant base, it was a natural fit for the business’ requirements.”
BetaTec has committed to a five-year term at a commencing rent of £24,960 per annum exclusive.
Mark Atkins Associates of Worcester acted on behalf of Malvern Hills Science Park.
