Harris Lamb has appointed a senior building surveyor with extensive experience across a wide range of sectors.
Michael Dooley has provided services for developers, investors, lenders and occupiers throughout the UK, and has worked within a number of specialised sectors including industrial, financial, healthcare and retail.
Harris Lamb’s building consultancy team is working with a number of clients UK-wide and Paul Wells, who heads up the team, said that Michael’s experience, skills and project performance record had made him the perfect choice to strength the department.
“We are overseeing a diverse range of projects all over the UK and Michael’s experience will be an excellent fit. He has represented both public and private sector clients, and having seen the scale of the projects he has worked on to date, we’re looking forward to putting his skills into immediate practice.
“He will be a valuable asset to his colleagues as he manages projects and provides expert advice and support to our client portfolio.”
Michael, who joins the business from Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Harris Lamb has an excellent reputation and I was attracted to the business because of its strong client portfolio and the diversity of the projects its building consultancy works on.
“Already I’m seeing how active the department is and I’m looking forward to being able to apply my skills and help deliver projects to the high standard the business expects,” he added.
Paul added that the department plans to appoint further surveyors to as a matter of priority in order to manage its increasing workload, including graduate roles as part of the business’ graduate training scheme, whereby it will support graduates to achieve their APC professional qualification.
