Establishing long term working relations with clients is always a pleasure, none more so than when relations have been developed following a string of successful acquisitions.
This is very much the case with Tim Gilbertson’s latest acquisition for Falcon Panel Products of a new Leeds distribution base where a deal has just been completed, with Tim Gilbertson securing on the edge of Leeds a fantastic unit of just over 32,000ft² for Falcon to expand into. This is the fourth acquisition over the last few years completed for Falcon and Tim Gilbertson commented:
“It is great establishing working relationships with clients and undertaking repeat business. They know what to expect from me, I know how they want to work and this makes agreeing and concluding deals so much simpler.
This was particularly important on this latest acquisition in Normanton on the edge of Leeds as a number of hurdles were posed by the landlords and their agents to deal with but by working with my clients we managed to overcome these and secure what will be an excellent base for Falcon’s growth in the north.
Having acquired bases for Falcon in Birmingham, Liverpool, Nottingham and Leeds, hopefully further acquisitions will be on the cards in the near future as their brand and business continues to grow. We wish them well of course in this latest depot.”
Tim Gilbertson went on to add:
“Acquisition work is often ignored by occupiers but in the same way as any well advised business would seek legal advice from a solicitor surely similar words of assurance on the commercial terms of a deal should be obtained from an appropriately qualified agent. Falcon certainly believe in that ethos and of course whilst costs are incurred by way of our fees they are happy with these every time by us providing not only an excellent service but also saving them money in the long run by negotiating hard on their behalf.”
