Commercial agents Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has completed three transactions on the sought after Segensworth Business Centre as the squeeze on small and medium sized industrial space continues.
The Park is strategically positioned between Southampton and Portsmouth and close to the M27. It also benefits from having both Southampton International Airport and Parkway mainline railway stations within easy reach. The Units are a mixture of light industrial, storage and office space each with its own allocated parking.
Most recently McWilliam Technology acquired almost 3,000 sq ft of warehouse and storage at Unit B4 as part of its business expansion plans. A family run business, McWilliam Windsocks has provided commercial, industrial and private use windsocks and masts across the world for over 25 years.
A mix of offices and light industrial space at Unit B2 was acquired by Internal Environments (Southern), providers of energy efficient, optimised Air conditioning and Ventilation solutions for the retail, commercial and industrial clients throughout the UK and parts of Europe.
The offices and small warehouse facility at Unit D3 has been taken on a short-term lease by specialist trainer Robert Peel International.
Commenting on the transactions, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director, Tom Holloway said: “We are continuing to see a reduction in quality industrial and office locations on the south coast and these three deals had numerous interested parties. Both B2 and B4 have been bought by SME businesses looking at long term occupation.”
McWilliam Technology director, Tom McWilliam, added: “We have seen good business growth for our specialist windsock products and needed more warehouse and storage space. As we were already based in Segensworth, it made perfect sense to acquire a unit on the business park rather than move off site.”
